Series explores history, transformation and future of human rights in Minnesota
In honor of the Minnesota Department of Human Right’s 50th anniversary, the Department and Twin Cities Public Television co-produced a three-part series that explores the history, transformation, and future of human rights in Minnesota.
The first episode, “Our Rights: Justice for All” provides an in-depth history of MDHR over the past 50 years. The next episode, “Our Rights: Raising the Stakes,” examines the transformation of Affirmative Action to Diversity and Inclusion. Lastly, “Our Rights: Building on the Promise” addresses the future of human rights and the role of MDHR in building a better future for all Minnesotans.
The Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder wrote an article on the collaboration.
