MCD Conference Booth
The Minnesota Council on Disability (MCD) is proud to collaborate with the state’s One Dream, One Minnesota celebration. Join us at the Community Conference to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and the Civil Rights Movement. Stop by our booth for posters, buttons, and resources, and connect with others who share our message: Disability rights are civil rights.
ASL service will be provided at the booth.
Call for Community Advocates
MCD invites Black, Indigenous, and people of color who have disabilities to share their stories, ideas, and plans for positive change in our community. If selected, we will work with you to record a brief segment that will be featured at our 2025 Legislative Forum, where community members and lawmakers work together to shape better policies. By sharing your experience, you’ll help advance both disability rights and this year’s MLK celebration theme: “Bridging Legacy with Action.”
To participate, contact Jill Westberry at jill.westberry@state.mn.us or 952-737-8695.
