After four years, the Minnesota State Capitol restoration project is almost complete. Thanks to the tireless work of state employees, construction workers, and craftsmen and women, our State Capitol building has been restored to its original glory. To celebrate, Governor Dayton and Lt. Governor Tina Smith invite you to join them for the official State Capitol Grand Opening Celebration over the weekend of August 11 to 13, 2017.

Host a screening in your community of “Our Rights: Justice for All”
Start a conversation in your community about human rights by hosting a screening of the MDHR and TPT co-production “Our Rights: Justice for All.” MDHR is offering opportunities for screenings of the program in Minnesota communities. Screening events provide the opportunity to start conversations about the progress Minnesota has made in furthering human rights for all, while recognizing the challenges that remain.
