MSCOD is conducting its annual customer satisfaction survey from now until June 21. The survey asks how we are doing as an organization and how we may better serve the needs of the Minnesota disability community. MSCOD Welcomes International Visitor
The Minnesota State Council on Disability is proud to introduce Murad Mammadov as he is spending a month with us as part of the U.S. State Department’s Legislative Fellows Program. Murad is from Baku, Azerbaijan and comes to this fellowship with a desire to learn about U.S. laws on children, disability rights, and the role of civil society in advocating for rights of children with disabilities. He has been in our office since early April and will wrap up his visit on May 7.
Disability Day at Capitol on April 11 Is CANCELED.
Due to weather headed our way here in St. Paul, Statewide Disability Advocacy Day at the Capitol tomorrow, April 11, has been canceled. Please attend the MN-CCD rally from 10a-12p on April 25 to spread the message about disability rights.

Minnesota School Transportation Study Released
Recent State legislation required a study to “consider efficiencies that could result from a regional approach to student transportation.” The legislation also required that the use of transit for student transportation be considered, and that the study include all geographic areas of the state. This study resulted in findings and recommendations for making changes to student transportation for efficiencies through collaboration, use of public transit, in contracts and overall transportation management.
