Minnesota School Transportation Study Released
Recent State legislation required a study to “consider efficiencies that could result from a regional approach to student transportation.” The legislation also required that the use of transit for student transportation be considered, and that the study include all geographic areas of the state. This study resulted in findings and recommendations for making changes to student transportation for efficiencies through collaboration, use of public transit, in contracts and overall transportation management.

HUD Clarifies Stance on Removing Elevator Service in Apartment Buildings
Required safety upgrades for elevators are causing some building owners to declare that they are taking their elevators permanently out of service in occupied apartment buildings. If you are aware of such a situation, please review the attached information. If the buildings and/or tenants fall into any of the described categories, please contact Housing and Urban Development.
