Store emergency numbers in your cell phones under “ICE” (“In Case of Emergency”), so someone else can call your emergency contacts if you’re not able to. If you have multiple emergency numbers, create separate entries like "ICE-1," "ICE-2," and so on.
If your phone is locked, first responders may not be able to access your ICE contacts. To address this, look for applications or "apps" provided by your phone service provider or available online in your app store for ICE solutions.
Additionally, consider looking into:
- Panic buttons, which can dial 911 and send text messages or emails to pre-designated contacts with just one button.
- Wandering devices for remote tracking.
- Other communication solutions and apps.
